Set time search default to first day of current month

I want to be able to automatically have the time search calendar to open to the first day of the current month since when I go to that report area, I am typically running reports for the current calendar month. Having the default date be a few months ago on a random start date is unhelpful and requires that the date be moved each and every time to the first day of the current month. Can you please provide an option to select the current first of the month date in that box as the default?
