When you do repeat work for a client, you're very often working on the same type of matters for them - the same tasks codes are needed, the same professionals are assigned, same contacts, same billing. Rather than having to re-enter all of those set up details - it would be more efficient to be able to clone an existing matter so that all details connected to that matter are created automatically in the new matter and then could be edited there as needed. Would be more efficient than starting from scratch, even with using templates
Another option would be to have the ability to export a project plan, team assignments, etc. from a matter/project and import them into a new matter/project.
