every time I run the bills as this client identified her matters to clients that way as well in her prior billing program and since she integrates with netdocs she uses the numerical reference to the client to make sure all her matters are going under this client number. Thank you for considering this enhancement
I have had several attorneys ask about being able to include the Matter ID on the Main Page of invoice, usually they want it with the client name and address.
My work around for this is to use the TIME ENTRY SEARCH function. I highlight in my pdf the text of the entry and then search all billing entries for this text. Works every time and I don't have to bother with knowing which matter it was for initially.
