Have abbreviations triggered by punctuation marks (period, semi-colon, comma, etc.) in addition to space bar. Also, have upper or lower case recognized.

Abbreviations are often followed by punctuation which results in the need to backspace to add it or I need to create 4 or more abbreviations of the same word to accomplish the use of upper or lower case or account for different punctuation that may be used .

    I second this suggestion. I'm having to create duplicate abbreviations with punctuation in order for this concept for work.
