Currently, customers cannot tell which matters participate in splits, or which splits. They have made the following suggestions.
- Some type of identifier at Clients/Matters indicating which matters are split participants (a column noting S1, S2, S3, etc. for the participants in the various splits).
- An identifier as to which matter to post time and expenses. Currently, unless they name it such (BILL HERE), it's easy for timekeepers to log time/expenses under the wrong matter. [Perhaps color code main split as Red S1 and other splits as Blue S1, etc].
- Reports or exports on splits.
