Firm wants to see all invoices, payments (with payment date), credit memos and write offs in one report for specific matters. They are an insurance defense firm so they have hundreds of matters under the same client. The Ledger Entries report can only be filtered by client, then it must be exported to Excel and filtered by matter - unfortunately, the balances in the report are client-based so they are useless. Please either create a matter ledger report or add a filter to the existing report to filter by matter.
