Auto Reminder for Partners and Billing Department about WIP Reaching Capped Fee

  • Description: We need an automated system to remind the partner and billing department when the Work in Progress (WIP) has reached the capped fee limit, but before issuing the bill. This ensures that appropriate actions, such as issuing the bill or adjusting the cap, can be taken promptly.

  • Solution Suggestion: Develop a workflow that continuously monitors WIP data and triggers a reminder when the total WIP reaches a predefined percentage of the capped fee (e.g., 90%). The reminder would be sent via email or the firm’s internal notification system.
